February Ending
Well since we only have three days left in February, I thought I would do a recap. I had hoped to do most of the month without going to the store. Did not happen I ended up going six times. I decided not to include my regular rent, utilities in with my calculation and some of it is dog needs which I am not including as his needs are there regularly every month. With his I went seven times to the store and he had grooming this month. From now on his regular needs dog food and treats will be only on one trip to the store. I will stock up. Just groceries and other spending I only had the six days but they were a doozy. I spent another $171.00 on groceries and had twenty no spend days. I had no other incidental buying this month. I hope this makes sense. My mind has a way of its own today.
I am hoping March will be better, but I will need to buy seeds for the garden. Normally we can’t plant before May 24th to around the first week of June. That’s why I will only get seeds in March. For things like broccoli, tomatoes etc. I will buy bedding out plants. We need to see what comes up first in the herb garden before we buy plants to go in it. I am thinking of joining a foraging group this year.

We are the same, and only get our seeds in March. I might try and get a few started inside this year at least flower wise as those seem to work the best.
ReplyDeleteLet me know how the foraging group goes. I do most on my own and at times it can be lonely.
God bless.
I will let you know how the foraging goes.
DeleteYou did really well with your no spend days! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bless. It was a good month.
DeleteYou did so well. I wish you good health and happiness. Warm greetings from a retired lady living in Montreal, Canada ❤️ π π¨π¦
ReplyDeleteOnce we turn the calendar to March, I’ll bring out my seeds and see what, if anything I need to buy to replenish. I always tend to push the season and get out there as soon as possible—which can be dicey here in Saskatchewan.
ReplyDeleteI always seem to push the season also. We have way too much snow and March is typically our snowiest month. This year I will wait a bit.
