New Week

Well, all the birthdays are done for a few months. The last one we did with Mother's Day. We are into another week of cold weather so far. We haven't made it above 9C for quite awhile. Yesterday a d today we were to have 17C. But only made it to 7C. It would be okay if it wasn't so windy from the north. Of course up north there is still snow and ice around. So when the wind blows it reflects it. No pictures of the birthday and Mothers day. We all were lazy and it was a small gathering. Not sure what's up for the rest of the week. Seems like it's a week where I will take it day by day. Jean

Annoying

My neighbours upstairs vacuum 4 -5 times a day. Am I being anal, about the vacuuming or do you think it's a bit obsessive. They have a cat. Its a short hair. I think once a day would be good.  Annoyed at the weather. We are to get rain and snow over the next three days. I'm tired of weather. Annoyed that it cost me $102.49 to fill my gas tank yesterday. All I can. Say is these too will pass. Jean

April End

Let's see now. April was a cold month. Still snow. A bit of rain. Not much sunshine but two days where it it highs in the 20s C. We had Easter, a bunch of birthdays. A wedding shower. Oakley got groomed. I had a much needed hair cut. It seems like not much, but meeting up with daughter a few times and all the regular chores going on it was  lot. Financially it seemed like a big spend month but in reality it wasn't. I'm just used to not spending. I still had 20 no spend days. Not too bad. Now into May. Yesterday I spent $10 to get into a quilt show. Then I spent $12.30 on a couple of fat quarters. Today I spent $102.29 to fill my vehicle. I also spent $34 on two rakes and a package of garden waste bags. This I may get back as it was for working on The Golfers yard. I have  become the head gardener. There is lots to do. I stopped at the grocery store and spent $21.35 on groceries. Not a great end or start to these months. Jean
